At Tuke & Bell, Thistle Management have implemented a simple, yet effective, management system for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. This system enabled Tuke & Bell to achieve a good score in UVDB Verify - a key enabler for future contracts. Verify is an independent assessment to confirm that a company meets the required standards to be allowed to work on the operational sites of the UK's major utility companies.
The work on management systems has now expanded to include control of the physical and financial aspects of project control and delivery. Thistle have captured the Tuke & Bell way of working in a simple database and made this accessible via the company intranet. This means people working at different sites can see the same, up to date, information concerning each project.
Tuke and Bell is one of the market leaders in the design and manufacture of sewage purification equipment.
